Research

CEGESMO stands out for its unique structure, built around four Research Groups corresponding to the four major languages of the Middle East: Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Turkish. This organization makes it possible to cultivate in-depth expertise in each linguistic area, and to foster collaborations with Middle Eastern researchers, regardless of their command of French or English.

Each Research Group is a pillar of CEGESMO's interdisciplinary and intercultural approach, opening the door to a nuanced and profound understanding of the region's geopolitical issues. The Research Groups are complementary and constantly interact with each other, while working on economic, military, cultural and diplomatic issues.

This synergy between CEGESMO's different branches enables a global and diversified analysis, crossing perspectives to produce unique insights and making a significant contribution to understanding the complex dynamics of the Middle East.
