The Centre d'études géopolitiques sur le Moyen-Orient (Centre for Geopolitical Studies on the Middle East) - CEGESMO - is a think tank dedicated to the study and analysis of the geopolitical challenges of the contemporary Middle East.

CEGESMO is based in Strasbourg (France), a crossroads city located at the heart of Europe. Its university has been renowned since the 19th century for its excellence in the field of Middle Eastern studies. Building on this tradition, our team of young researchers and professionals, hailing from both Europe and Middle Eastern countries, aims for a deeper understanding of this complex region by combining knowledge of local languages and cultures with the application of a rigorous method of geopolitical analysis.
